Glen Oak Country Club

I had an event at this location on May 30th. I was not happy with how the event was handled by the general manager, Jonathan. We scheduled our event several months ago but we found out that another event was scheduled on the same day which overlapped with my event. We were told about this merely 1 week prior the event. This led to a compromise (even though we had no fault in this screw up) and we gave up 30 min from our event duration. However, the general manager made us feel rushed during the event and he wanted to dictate how certain things would be done (dinner timing and cake cutting). He acted as if we were doing something wrong. We should not have been treated this way since it was absolutely not our fault that another event was scheduled so close to ours. The poor treatment and attitude of the general manager took the excitement out of our event. Overall this experience left us with a sour taste in our mouth and I doubt that I will use this venue again. I am sure this review does not really mean anything for this management but I had to share it.

A very nice, private club. The course is tight and gimmicky at times, but very well kept and enjoyable to play. Membership is polite and accommodating. The clubhouse is also great, with solid food and booze options.

Your golfers should be reminded that peeing off to the side of the course can lead to indecent exposure charges! We are very tired of seeing your clientele drop drawers in view of private residences. Documentation will be provided to the authorities.

I have been working with Glen Oak and their wedding planning team for the last few weeks as my fiancé and I have been planning our wedding at Glen Oak. I cannot speak highly enough of Nardi and Graham for their help planning and ensuring everything was up to our standards. I often find that food for larger groups is average at best, but Glen Oak did a great job with their offerings despite having 150+ people at the event. On top of having professional staff and great food; the course is beautiful and the club has a welcoming vibe with a lot of younger members. I would recommend Glen Oak for a wedding or to anyone looking to join a Country Club in the area.

Glen Oak provides a nice balance of casual dining as well as more formal options - depending on what you’re looking for. Service is professional & friendly. We enioy meeting friends at the club, having family dinners, as well as date-nights. The golf course is fun and well-maintained; and we always enjoy the atmosphere at the pool and Waves - the pool bar/cafe.
